As a member of our YMCA family you are a part of something special – a community – that connects people of all ages and backgrounds. We recognize that these are difficult times for us all and are full of uncertainty. As a YMCA, we want to be a resource during this community challenge. Our members and donors help to make this possible.

We want to ensure that you know your membership options during our temporary closure.

  • OPTION # 1 - Leave your membership dues as-is to help us support the important work we are doing in our community during this tough time as we continue to rise to the challenge of meeting the needs of our members and community.

    • FEEDING THE HUNGRY:

      • We are working to provide our 60 male residents with food.

    • EMERGENCY CHILDCARE:

      • Youth Development Staff are preparing to provide childcare to hospital staff and first responders if the community expresses a need for that support.

    • ENGAGING OUR YOUTH, FAMILIES & SENIORS

      • Kids Korner staff are posting interactive facebook live posts and online resources to support families.

      • Preschool Staff are in the process of setting up online support for families.

      • Active Older Staff are reaching out to our seniors to connect with them and make sure they remain connected.

    • PROVIDING VIRTUAL FITNESS

      • Our fitness staff are creating an online exercise community M.Y. Virtual Fitness to help our members exercise and stay connected while we are away from our facility at any time from home.

    • CAMP INGERSOLL OUTDOOR CENTER

      • Y Members are welcome to come enjoy the great outdoors and 77 acres of grounds and trails.

      • Parking: Please park by the camp office, the first big building as you drive up the camp road.

      • Grounds and trails are open. Bring your own bikes/helmets, fishing equipment & sports equipment.

      • The slide is CLOSED. Please stay off of the slide.

      • The docks are CLOSED.  Please stay off of the docks.

  • OPTION # 2 - Place your membership on hold. If you prefer to put your membership on hold or temporarily suspend your autodraft you can do so by calling the Y between the hours of 9am and 5pm, Monday-Friday at 860-343-6201 or send an email directly to membership at kpellegrino@midymca.org.
