Effective Monday, November 23rd, MASKS are required in ALL areas of the facility.

The only exception is removal of mask while swimming. Masks will continue to be required of all members including those who have received the vaccine. Reopening of the Y FAQs


The YMCA is currently open with reduced hours of operation by reservation for current YMCA members. 

The current hours of operation are as follows: 

Monday - Friday 5:45am-7:00pm 

Saturday - Fitness Center, Performance Zone and Fit Plus Hours 7:00am -1:00pm. Large Pool Hours 7am-9:20am. 



Access for some areas of the facility will be by RESERVATION only in order for us to maintain capacity limits that are mandated by State Reopen Guidelines for Phase 2.

*Group Exercise & Water Exercise Classes require registration.

*Pool usage requires use of RESERVATION SYSTEM. 

*Gymnasiums reservations update as of Wed12/2, we are returning to single reservations only in the gymnasium. A parent with children living in the same household (up to four people) may make a single reservation. 


Can I arrive early for my RESERVATION? You may enter the YMCA at the start time of your reservation. Y staff will be cleaning and disinfecting the facility areas between each appointment block of time. If you arrive early, please wait outside until your scheduled appointment time. 

How many days in advance can I make a RESERVATION? Members can make reservations 72 hours in advance and up to 1 hour in advance of your preferred appointment time. View 8/12 email update: 

Can I USE more than area per day? Yes! If you'd like to swim before or after a class or workout, you may set up a reservation to use the pool. 

Can Swimmers in the same household share a lane? Not at this time due to CT Reopening Guidelines as of 12/1. 

Can I cancel my RESERVATION? Yes! Simply login to the reservation system, select the My appointments tab and click on the RED CANCEL button for the appointment you wish to cancel.

Membership FAQ's

MEMBERSHIP: What happens with my semi annual or annual membership expiration date?

If your semi annual or annual membership was scheduled to expire in

  • April 2020, your expiration date has been extended to the end of July.

  • May 2020, your expiration date has been extended to the end of August.

  • June 2020 or later, your expiration date has been extended by three months.
