The Northern Middlesex YMCA accepts charitable gifts in the form of appreciated securities.

These gifts may be beneficial to income tax savings and capital gains tax. All gifts will be sold immediately upon receipt unless the Y determines that there is a reason to hold a specific security. The value of the gift of stock is based on the fair market values as determined by the broker on the date the gift is received by the YMCA.

The Y also offers another easy way to donate stock. Through DonateStock.com, supporters can make stock donations in 10 minutes or less. DonateStock allows individuals to donate stock from their broker directly to the Y’s account through a secure portal, making the gifting process fast, safe, and easy
