Kids Korner Celebrates Black History Month

Bielefield Kids' Korner spent time working on a fact scavenger hunt to find out more about Historic African American Icons. The kids had to figure out who was who based on four facts on the person's poster. The featured icons were Rosa Parks, Barrack Obama, Colin Powell, Althea Gibson, and George Washington Carver. What an amazing activity to teach our children about cultural awareness!

Check out the beautiful bulletin board Valley View Kids' Korner made to celebrate Black History Month.

Quality reading is going on during homework/enrichment time at Kids Korner!
February 1st means a Themed Book Shelf Switchup! Looking forward to our Black History Month selections.
