Furloughed employees facing financial hardship due to the government shutdown can turn to the Northern Middlesex YMCA for membership and childcare assistance during the shutdown. The Y understands the financial hardship caused by the shutdown and we want to help. If you are a current Y member or family in our child care program furloughed by the government shutdown please contact the Y.

Middlesex United Way Recognizes Y Members and Staff at January 2019 Annual Meeting As a cause driven organization focused on Social Responsibility, supporting the community is our focus. Collaboration with organizations like Middlesex United Way, The Peach Pit Foundation and Community Leaders are essential to the success of the Y. At the YMCA, we value giving back to the community. As we make our way through the month of January, it’s important to remember Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., a pioneer in the world of positive improvement and change, with the celebration of the MLK Day of Service on Monday, January 21. For over 20 years, the MLK Day of Service has encouraged individuals to volunteer their time to improve their communities.
